We are looking for someone qualified or with relevant experience and prepared to study towards Level 4 Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care, to work as the Lead in all aspects of service delivery to people with a Sensory Loss, Learning Disabilities and /or other complex needs.
The role forms part of future proofing the organisation and, for the right individual, to provide academic & personal career growth.
Key elements of the role include:
– Providing leadership & management of the Supported Living Team, ensuring they are supported in their roles
– Ensuring high levels of service across our four Supported Living Properties
– Liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate
– Developing and implementing policies based on current legislation & guidance
– Building strong relationships with local community groups, businesses & education

As this post involves communicating with D/deaf people, it would be ideal if you have a certificate in BSL Level 1 or above, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge. However training will be provided in BSL to meet the requirements of the role.
This role may occasionally require unsociable hours and evening or weekend work.
