Hours of Work:
37.5 hours per week (working 5 out of 7 days)
Annual Leave Entitlement:
25 days and Public Bank Holidays, plus a discretionary day at Christmas
CRW premises in Cardiff, Talbot Green, Port Talbot, and Swansea
Cancer Research Wales operate a Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (where CRW will contribute twice the contribution of its employee to a maximum of 13%). Full CRW pension will be offered on condition of passing the probation period.
Probationary Period: 6 months
Responsible for the day to day running of the shop working to maximise income for the charity. Representing charity in the community, you will recruit, motivate, and develop volunteers to promote the work of Cancer Research Wales.
The post holder will be self-motivated, passionate about providing high standards of customer service and creative, with excellent communication skills.
The post holder will have a broad range of responsibilities which will require significant initiative and flexibility, ensuring they work at all times in a professional and timely manner.
The role of Cancer Research Wales is to raise funds to support pioneering cancer research in Wales, which has the potential to benefit lives in the future.
The post holder must embrace the charity’s aim to create ‘supporters for life’ and work to build long term professional relationships with our supporters, who make the work of our charity possible.
The post holder will work proactively within Cancer Research Wales helping to ensure the smooth running of the store, whilst at times supporting the Charity’s other departments.
