We have an exciting opportunity to join our small team at International Refugee Trust (IRT) as Database and Office Manager. We are looking for a CRM professional, with experience of Salesforce database administration, who can also provide office management support to the charity. Ideally, they should also understand donation processing and supporter care within a marketing or fundraising environment. Your role will contribute to better analysis and use of donor, campaign and project data for effective donor communications, project funding management and accountability. This is a great opportunity to lead on developments with our current Salesforce application, as well as the transition to a new payment hub and improved online fundraising capabilities with a new website.
Responsibilities of the Database and Office Manager cover two key areas. The first involves effective management and development of our supporter database, including processing donations, updating information, reconciling accounts and supporting fundraising campaigns (online and offline) with mailing lists, data and reports. The second is to provide key office support for the team and help make sure IRT runs smoothly. You’ll help keep us on top of essential administration, including internal processes and liaison with external suppliers.
IRT is a UK-based charity, which works with local community organisations in developing countries to help some of the world’s most vulnerable refugees and displaced people. We support programmes in Uganda, South Sudan, Jordan and Tanzania. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, friendly organisation in a role which has lots of autonomy and room for development.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
Manage, maintain and develop IRT’s Salesforce CRM database.
Ensure all IRT’s data is accurately and legally stored on the database and is GDPR compliant.
Support the fundraising and donations administration process as necessary, including exporting data and providing reports and fundraising analytics.
Provide general administration services for the charity.
Manage a range of external suppliers providing IT, technical, financial, HR and administrative support.
Provide IT support to IRT staff with the help of an IT consultant.
Essential skills and experience:
Significant knowledge and experience of using a Salesforce CRM database for both analysis and communication purposes.
Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel skills.
Good numeracy skills and experience of working with financial budgets and accounts.
Experience of managing a range of office administration processes and procedures.
An excellent communicator with outstanding organisation skills.
Good team player who is willing to work collaboratively and play a part in all the charity’s activities.
Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.

£28,000-32,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
This is a full-time post at 1.0 FTE equal to 35 hours per week.
25 days per year plus all statutory holidays.
5% employer’s pension contribution on satisfactory completion of probationary period.
