Front of House Manager (Dementia Hub)

Full-time – Permanent

Salary: £30,785 to £33,437


This is a new role in a growing charity who have big plans and ambitions to support people living with Dementia in an unprecedented way.


Do you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same?  With a desire to really make a difference for people and how they experience care services, the Front of House Manager will lead the teams who are responsible for creating the first impression that we make on our customers.


This is a hands-on role which will develop, manage and actively deliver high quality, friendly front of house services for various exciting and innovative zones and functions of the Dementia Support Hub, including;


  • Reception, Telephony, Facilities including the use of it by external stakeholders
  • The Wayfinding Service – Emotional Support and Information, Advice and practical support to navigate health and social care services
  • The Smart Zone – Technology and equipment supporting individuals to retain their independence at Home
  • Therapy Rooms and their use


Dementia Support is a new Charity based in Tangmere near Chichester and we are creating the first ever ‘one stop shop’ for those living directly or indirectly with dementia. In this state-of-the-art Hub opening in May 2018, we will be capable of delivering a wide range of vital services under one roof providing the latest support, information, advice and activities to those living with Dementia.  As we now gather momentum and prepare for our launch, we are looking to expand our team.


Operating as the senior professional in the team, the Front of House Manager will lead a proficient, effective team delivering high-quality services.  The role will include;


  • Planning and coordination of the front of house services
  • Design and implementation of dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence
  • Significant contribution to the future development and shape of the team and its function
  • Compilation of statistics and performance information regarding relevant service areas
