Trusts Fundraising Officer
Part time, 21 hours a week.
Salary £26 – 28,000 pa (pro rata)
Based Horsham, West Sussex
Action Medical Research is an ambitious charity aiming to grow and deliver still more medical research to help children. With over 65 years of history and roots in the development of the first polio vaccines, the charity has contributed to some amazing medical breakthroughs, like developing ultrasound in pregnancy, the rubella vaccine and cooling therapy for newborn babies.
Following internal promotion we are seeking a Trusts Fundraising Officer to join the charitable trusts team, supporting delivery of the trusts fundraising plan and maximising income from trusts and foundations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for researching new trust income sources, developing compelling proposals to secure funding and providing excellent stewardship of donors to build long term relationships.
Proven experience of successful trusts fundraising is essential and the candidate will need to be proactive, well organised, with the ability to craft powerful proposals. An understanding of fundraising from trusts for medical research causes is desirable.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
